Education & Training
As a board certified psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner, I provide psychiatric treatment to adults. I completed my undergraduate nursing degree at Loyola University Chicago. My nursing background includes critical care, crisis psychiatry, outpatient psychiatry, and TMS. After working as a bedside nurse for eight years in Chicago, I completed my graduate program at Rush University Chicago. It was through my own experience with postpartum depression and PMDD that I began to learn more about reproductive psychiatry and how to support clients at my practice.
My approach combines both traditional and complementary treatments, ensuring comprehensive care for all my patients. I’ve completed additional education and training led by leading experts in integrative & reproductive psychiatry including Dr. Anna Glezer. For clients who are interested in exploring this, we can talk about evidence-based nutraceuticals and botanicals as standalone treatment or in conjuction with other interventions based on your needs.
I am certified as a Perinatal Mental Health Clinician through Postpartum Support International. Postpartum Support International is an organization dedicated to the awareness, prevention, and treatment of perinatal mental health disorders. Certification requires specialized perinatal training, passing a certification exam, and continuing education.
In my spare time, I enjoy crocheting, weight lifting, reading, and spending as much time outdoors as possible with my three dogs and daughter.
